Made from reclaimed towels saved from landfill, our RETOWEL dresses are designed for warm days, salty air, and easy everyday wear.
Each dress is thoughtfully cut and sewn by hand in my Melbourne home studio, using carefully selected vintage and preloved towelling. From sourcing to stitching, every towel is used as fully as possible — with leftover scraps transformed into matching bags, hats, and accessories to minimise waste.
Designed with a soft, slightly tapered A-line shape, each dress gently skims the body to create a flattering silhouette without feeling restrictive. Fully reversible, they can be worn with the pockets at the front or turned for a cleaner, more minimal look.
Soft, sun-faded, and intentionally imperfect, no two dresses are ever the same. Each piece carries its own story, shaped by time, texture, and the materials available — that’s the beauty of RETOWEL.
